About Us

Alford Haselden began the practice of law in Clover, S.C. in November of 1975, and in November of 1976, James H. (“Hank”) Owen, Jr. joined him to establish the partnership of Haselden and Owen. Myron B. Boloyan became an associate in 1987, at which time the firm opened its Lake Wylie office. In 1993, the partnership of Haselden, Owen & Boloyan was formed with offices in the Clover and Lake Wylie communities.

J. Cameron Halford is from Barnwell, South Carolina and is a 1999 graduate of the Walter F. George School of law at Mercer University. He graduated the University of South Carolina in December, 1990. Halford served as the judicial law clerk for the Hon. Paul E. Short, Jr. in the South Carolina Sixth Judicial Circuit of Chester, Fairfield and Lancaster Counties before founding Halford Law Firm, LLC in July, 2003. In August, 2006 Halford and Matthew R. Niemiec joined and founded Halford & Niemiec, LLP in the rapidly expanding Fort Mill community of York County. Matthew Niemiec is originally from the Beaufort, South Carolina and is a 1999 graduate of the University of South Carolina School of Law.

In November, 2016 the firms Halford & Niemiec, LLP merged with Haselden Owen & Boloyan, LLC and consolidated all offices in Lake Wylie. While the firm handles matters in all South Carolina counties, the attorneys and staff view the firm primarily as a full service community-based law practice and seeks to provide quality legal services to its clients based on reasoned, tried and true legal advice. Serving York County areas such as Clover, Lake Wylie, York, and Greater York County since 1975, our attorneys have experience in both transactional and litigation matters.
